Residual Human Serum Albumin (HSA) Determination by ELISA

We offer Residual HSA determination by ELISA. This assay is performed using the Human Albumin ELISA kit manufactured by Bethyl Laboratories. Maxisorp Nunc 96 well plates are coated with a sheep anti-HSA antibody.  Samples and standards (400 ng/ml down to 0 ng/ml) are added to the appropriate wells and following incubations and several washes, the conjugate HRP-tagged antibody is added to all wells followed by a substrate.  Optical density readings are reduced using a four parameter logistic in order to generate a standard curve and calculate sample residual HSA concentrations.

Human Serum Albumin ELISA Standard Curve

This is an example showing the standard curve generated in the Human Serum Albumin ELISA assay.  The four parameter logistic algorithm is used to calculate sample concentrations in the assay.  The linear range is 0-400 ng/ml.

Sample requirements:  1 ml or one cell pellet shipped overnight on ice packs

Turnaround time:  One week
