Candidate must have a minimum of a four year degree in life sciences (Biology or related field). Knowledge in Molecular Biology/Basic Biochemistry is essential since the responsibilities will be related to PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, Gel Imageing, Computer analysis, etc.

Responsibilities include:

• DNA extraction from biological and non-biological samples
• DNA amplification using Thermal Cyclers
• Gel Electrophoresis, gel imaging, labeling and analysis
• Restriction digestion followed by Gel Electrophoresis (RFLP)
• Data analysis adn documentation
• Other laboratory upkeep tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or related field is required
• Being a self starter would be very helpful
• Attention to detail, well-organized and have the ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS office, use of the internet, search engines and the ability to search for information when necessary
• Knowledge of Laboratory procedures, the ability to learn and adapt quickly to Clongen’s focus

Responsibilities include:

• Obtaining new clients and boosting sales
• Building and establishing strong working relationships with physicians, clinics and hospitals
• Share information with prospective clients regarding Clongen Lab services, the technology platform Clongen utilizes, pricing, turnaround times, sample requirements, billing and other related issues
• Must be able to travel in the assigned territory and possibly nationwide if required
• Must be able to present Clongen’s capabilities to prospective clients in a convincing and professional manner
• Attend to the client’s needs by maintaining scheduled meetings and calls
• Must be able to provide own transportation

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or related field is required
• Being a high-energy, self-starter, enthusiastic, and someone with high ethical standards
• 2-5 years successful sales experience in selling laboratory services to hospitals and physicians offices
• Customer service experience
• Attention to detail, well-organized and have the ability to work independently
